Welcome to Doebel's web site. Doebel is changing the way people view pop music, ebm/synth pop to be more specific. People who don't even like pop music enjoy Doebel's music, for the love story uncovered in the music and the emotion revealed. Do you want to hear more? Then, just click the link below to listen to Doebel's album Ever Since. Not to be ubrupt with you, but I'd just rather have you check out the music than to have you read a rave description or review, because to me it's about the music. Feel the same way?

Euphoric and Hysteric pop/electronic/dance music

Doebel fulfills the senses to provoke thought and bring out feelings within. A style with a common ground, melodies and chord progressions that people can feel emotionally and relate to, but yet different enough to be a new sound, a genre not easily defined. However, Doebel's style is probably best defined as pop, electronic, dance and even ambient. From euro dance beats, hip-hop styles to ballad all with emotion and a flipside with humor.

When listening closely, Doebel's first album Ever Since paints a dark picture of uncertainty dealing with deep intra and interpersonal conflicts of the relationship at the time and at the time of separation. Later in the album, Doebel takes a turn to make fun of the situation as he makes an analogy of himself in his relationship with his ex fiancée to a pancake. After that, Doebel's songs consist of odd topics; the many uses of duct tape, a struggle to live with a disobedient dog, and being forever changed in a car accident by being hit in a place where no man would want to be hit.

Doebel is music by Eric Doebel. I'm 30 years old and grew up in a small town in Ohio, where I grew up in a woods and spent my life working at my dad's greenhouse, where I'm currently working. Someday in the future, I will take ownership and see how long the place lasts, I mean, experience the success of the business. I went to college and graduated with a bachelor's degree, with a major in sociology and a minor in German. Does this make any sense? If it doesn't, it's okay I'm still trying to figure it out. I will have to say that I have a diversity of interests. One interest that I've known the longest is my interest in music. I've been playing the piano and drums since I was about eight years old, but not at the same time of course, although I've tried with little success. When I was about fifteen, I started creating songs on keyboards with midi sequencers, which allow you to record multiple tracks with different instruments, thus being the beginning of creating my own songs. Through those years I've recorded enough songs to fill up ten ninety-minute tapes and three CDs. The CD I'm currently releasing is now my fourth. For twenty years now, I've pondered the idea of releasing an album and now the day is finally here.
